I am sorry but I got quite a chuckle out of this. I never had this problem with my male, but it was always in the back of my mind it could happen. Seems he knew it was wrong, has accomplished what he has tried to do for a few days, so perhaps this will be the one and only incident. Mind you, we train our dogs to do their business outdoors, males lift their legs and pee on trees, so when you bring the outdoors inside well....... He was probably tickled pink that you had installed indoor plumbing for him

To be honest I with all of you I found it somewhat humorous also, unfortunately, the Mrs. did not. He is not yet neutered (but will be after the holidays). I figure he is just marking his territory, but was wondering how long this will go on for. He has not had an accident indoors since he was a few months old. I have not yet had him around the tree again, but figure if I dont then it might just make it worse for next year. I will have to give him the test tonight when the Mrs. goes to bed.
