Well, there is a beautiful brindle 8 month old male behind us....and Addy, the 4 month old fawn female (our pup) is helping him complete a tunnel under the fence! Germans are so sneaky! Anyhow, the poor dog on the other side is left outside all day long (in Mississippi summer heat), so he has nothing else to do but dig. Addy goes straight for the hole when we are outside for excercise after work. Anything I can put there, or use to fix the hole? Cinder blocks would look ugly, and i don't want to screw more boards on....what do y'all suggest? Thanks

i heard that if you bury there poop in the hole they are digging that they will no longer dig a hole in that spot. I say bury the poop all along the fence :)

My neighbor that works for animal rescue league said that on my chain link fence to use the long stakes that will hold the fence down and to drive into the ground it will keep them from being able to dig out. I'm going to have to call about this and see what I can find.

Wooden fence? I have seen people drive pieces of rebar into the ground to block holes. You should be able to drive it in far enough that just the tops would show at the bottom of the fence.

Or you might try that spray that is suppose to keep dogs away from certain areas. ?? don't know but an idea maybe?

Tractor is now almost 9 months old and does not dig around my fence but rather just digs holes out in the middle of the yard. I'm not very sure what he is thinking but he is having a great time doing it and my 3 y/o human baby is enjoying the holes also.
