Oh My Goodness!!

Odie went to the vet today for his 12 week shots and check-up. I was very curious to know how much he weighed (DH and I were taking bets). Odie was the biggest of his litter and weighed 15 lbs. at 8 weeks when we picked him up from the breeder. The vet tech took him out of the room to be weighed and when she returned and said, "Well, this big guy weighs 27 lbs!!" I couldn't believe it. I knew he had grown quite a bit in the the 4 weeks we have had him, but a 12 lb. weight gain was amazing. He doesn't look a bit overweight and eats very well (3 meals a day). I, of course, have been supplementing his kibble with some good stuff I learned here of BW (cottage cheese, yogurt, boiled potatoes, etc.). He is on Natural Balance and seems to be doing quite well. Just thought I would share how my "boy" is growing.

That is amazing he has gained weight so well! This is great. Our Leila is so petite and is 13 months and hovers around 50 pounds.

My goodness! That is one big, healthy boy! All that good stuff you have been feeding him sure is working-he must be a cutie! My girl is 7 mos and has not hit fifty pounds yet
