Oden starts his 6 week obedience school tomorrow. I have been looking forward to this for weeks. He is already doing great, but I figured it would not hurt to enroll him in class. We started yesterday leaving him out of his crate for a few hours and he has done great. When I came home from work nothing was destroyed and he did not potty anywhere in the house. It was very cute, because he was just sitting in the window waiting for me to come home.

We had our first class last night, which was without the dog. We went over basic things like: good and bad toys for them to play with, good food to feed them, etc. She seems to be a very good trainer so far, and I learned a lot of basic things last night I should have allready known. Our homework before next week is how to correctly give our dog a treat. I am so looking forward to next week's class.

Tonight will be the 5th week of class for Oden. So far he has done very good, I can actually take him to the park and walk without him pulling me. He will also sit or go down and stay there until I give him the comand to come to me. This has been the best 65 dollars I have ever spent for sure.

Cran- its amazing the progress that they make. We finished our beginner class and Brindy doesn't walk me anymore I walk her. Wow its so worth the money. We just started intermediate class on tuesday. I think she catches on faster(Boxers are so smart). We can put her in a sit-stay take the leash off and walk to the end of the driveway and wait a few seconds and then call her to come. She gets so excited when we do this, puts a smile on my face just thinking of it.:D We were also taught to make her sit and stay while making her meals and then release her. It took her two meals and she had this down pat. Good luck and I hope you continue on your obedience, not only is it fun for them but for owners as well. What I love is showing off all that she can do!
