Our little girl was just diagnosed with OCD in her right hind knee. We were devasted, of course. She just turned 1 last month! She's had all of the symptoms, tons of x-rays, several vet opinions...so we just scheduled her surgery for next week. Since we were diagnosed, of course, I've been madly searching for treatments. It seems her best chance for a better quality of life with no pain is surgery. Granted, she'll have some pain because she already has a little arthritis...but she'll be able to be the playful, loopy boxer that she really is!
So, I was wondering if anyone had this done. Apparently, it is very rare in the knee. Any advice or similar surgery thoughts would be helpful. We know some of what to expect after the surgery but I wanted to ask the friends at Boxerworld for advice as well.
