Boxer Pal
hi hi! this is my first post here so i hope someone can help me ^_^

I have a 4 month old boxer and ever since i got him, he's been on premium brands like Wellness and Natural balance. Well, with Wellness and Natural Balance, he didnt love it. I had to bog it down with half a can of pedigree wet food in order for him to eat it but his poop always came out firm. I just switched him to Natural Choice by advice from the sales woman. She said that its good for a sensitive stomach but after he eats the natural choice, his poop comes out runny. Its been a couple of days now and it still comes out runny. Im worried that this is a pernamate thing, but i hope not. I FINALLY got a food that he likes and its causing problems with me lol

any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!! Thank you!

I would switch to a higher quality food. Natural Choice is not the greatest and has a lot of grains. My guys really like Taste of the Wild and Earthborn. Have you ever tried adding some water to his food?

I add yogurt in the morning and a little canned at night.

I didn't catch where you mentioned anything about a sensitive stomach prior to making the switch to Natural Choice.
Could be you are over feeding him or it just isn't agreeing with him. In either case there are healthier options (the Pedigree canned you were feeding isn't one of them!).
You've mentioned FOUR different foods which have been tried with a four month old. WAY TOO MANY changes in such a short period of time.
I'd pick something healthy that gets the stools back to normal and stick to it for a while. You need to get him into some sort of routine before you end up with a picky eater on your hands. You don't want to go there!
A healthy pup/dog won't starve itself with food available. What they will do if given the chance is try and wait you out knowing that you will cave and add something really yummy (to them like Pedigree).....which is like junk food for dogs.
Don't give in!

I agree with the above. Plus Nutro is a very low quality food and has many class action lawsuits against them. I'd return it and switch to something higher quality (like Taste of the Wild) and stick with that for awhile.
