has anyone ever heard of the dry food called nutripet? i am just curious.

I'm not an expert but it doesn't seem like a very good dog food. Maybe others could say for sure.

if this is the food then IMO it would not be a quialty dog food just seeing all the corn in the first 5 ingredients is a sign.here is a list of the WDJ

That's the food i was asking about. I'm actually giving it a try (even though it won't be recommended by boxer lovers on this board). I have about 4 or 5 close friends that use this food and have wonderfull results. I have tried many foods for my babies with no luck. I have tried wellness, chicken soup, royal canin, and nutro (all with a 6 week trial period). It's funny that I have been the most successfull with pro plan. Believe it or not my male recovered from his generalized demedex on pro plan. I totally believe it comes down to the dog. My goal in a few months is to get them on a raw diet. I know in the end that would probably be the best for the 2 of them.

Thanks for the replies. I just started the mixing process with this food and i will give it a fair shot like i do with the others. I will let you fellow boxer lovers know how it works out.

Well, not every food will ever work for every dog. But a food can only be as good as it's ingredients. I personally wouldn't feed this food because of it's chemical preservatives (propyl gallate) - which is thought to be carcinogenic, and boxers are already a breed prone to cancer... But in addition to that, it contains very little meat, and far too much grain.

I'm not a fan of Pro-plan, but IMO it would be a much better choice.
