Nub Games

Do you play games with your boxer's nub (tail)?

I ask Buster if he needs to be "started". I grab hold of his nubber, start cranking it like I'm cranking an engine and I make "putt putt putt" sounds with my lips, like a kid would do imitating a airplane. I start out slow and speed up, speed up, speed, up until I'm sputtering away full speed. Usually takes 2 starts to get him goin' and then he's off doing the boxer burn and comes back for a "re-start".

(Note - no boxers are harmed during start-up, I don't really crank his nubber, just sort of turn it lightly - luckily for me, he has a rather long nub!)

OMG! That's too funny! Our girl really doesn't like her nubby messed with, but daddy messes with everything anyways. She doesn't do anything, she just looks real annoyed! Good future skin kid training!

How funny!!!! In our house we play "scootchy butt". Mason goes flying by us and we try to grab his nub, then he "tucks and runs". This is his favorite game, he will do this for hours ( it seems).

we call mateus 'sausage tail' and grab his bum and he tries to catch us before we get it. silly game but fun.

Im missing out, Evie & Adam dont do anything if you grab their nubbies!! But they hate to have those cute little curly cues on their bums played with!! They scootch away from you and the give you a big lick!!

I loved this story and laughed out loud at the silliness of it all! Aren't our Boxer's Nubs wonderful? They say so much about the mood they're in. Can't wait to tell my hubby about the nubber start-up story. Next thing you know, he'll be doing it to our Amiga, 6 years, flashy brindle female. Fabulously fun, spoiled, and loves to do the boxer burn!

This is such a great thread When Rocky is concentrating on something he will have his back straight and nub straight out.. well.. I love grabbing his little nub and then when he tries to turn to lick my hand I will continue to go round and round and before you know it he's going around in circles trying to chase his nub :rolleyes:
