The Chesapeake one is awesome. Ive never been to the VB one. We could even do a beach day at ocean view/chix beach. Dogs are welcome there anytime. We could go further down where there are no people, which is where I take Ray. Up to you guys. Im sure I will be doing both that weekend.

Sounds like a plan, I think it will be fun. I do worry about how skittish our girl is sometimes, but I am sure she'll be fine, she really seems to like to play with other dogs, but the noises bother her when she hears it, but can't see where it cam from. You ever have that problem? Oh and check out the pics of Cassie in our gallery, the smiling one is sooo funny. Which day BTW do you want to do it?

The 24th of next month sound ok? Would you rather do the beach in Ocean View or the dog Park in Chesapeake? Any other Norfolk area people have some input? I wouldnt worry about her being shy as long as she doesnt get agressive when she gets shy. A little bit of time and work and it wouldnt be a problem.

Nope, not agressive at all, very submissive matter of fact. Our first trip to the dogpark, she rolled on her back and piddled on herself. All the dogs smelled her and all was good. She is such a happy girl. It doesn't matter where really, but an enclosed park would probably be a good place to start and if we all decided to go to the beach later, then cool.We have never had her out in the open not on a leash, so it's hard to imagine how she'll act, but by the way she is always under foot, it's hard to belive she'll run.

I know this is short notice but since we have a BEAUTIFUL day here in central VA, I am thinking of taking Bosco to the park in Ashland on 54. We will be there prob. sometime after 4pm. We''ll keep our eyes open.

to boscosmommy and any other richmond area boxer pals: would you like to meet this saturday morning at the dog park on 54? we were out of town last saturday in upstate new york but vick and sable would like to have other boxer pals. they are up around 6 but we could go up early in the morning before it starts to heat up. saturday it looks like its supposed to be in the low 80s. let me know.
