Not Sharing the bed

our puppy has an interesting habit already. It doesn't matter where you go, he must be next to you when sleeping, and have part of his body touching you. He's a little guy now, but something will have to change as he gets bigger. No real question here, I know we'll have to break this behaviour, but just curious if others have any similar habits.

Won't stay on the floor

Sasha used to sleep in her cage until she was toilet trained and then had a bed next to ours. She always used to be put on the floor when my BF came to bed and stayed there until morning. Lately though she goes on the floor when I go to bed but we always wake in the nyt with her lying anywhere she wants usually at about 4 or 5am. She doesn't want to push us out but we just can't move. No matter how many times we put her down she gets back on. Could she be cold - it is upstairs in the pub and i have given her fleecy blankets and everything but we cant leave the heat on all night!!HELP
