Completely Boxer Crazy
Glad to hear Luka isn't the only one! He is fed on a schedule, but just doesn't want to eat in the morning, he'd rather just have some water. I didn't stress over it at first, I figured he'd eat if he was hungry. I didn't want to add anything either, but I noticed he was really hungry at night (feed him at 7a and 5p), so I started adding 99% fat free, low sodium chicken or beef broth to his kibble in the morning (and microwaving it- spoiled??? :D). Some mornings he eats it all, sometimes just a few bites, but at least he is eating. I tried non fat plain yougurt, but he didn't seem to like it AT ALL! I also pick up his food after 15-20 minutes. I feed Chicken Soup and sometimes I put in the wet food instead of the broth... but I think he is tired of CS. Which is ok, because I want to switch to Canidae anyway. (typing w/ one hand as he is snoring away on my lap, resting his head on my arm lovicon)
