" NOT CANCER"

my white boxer (duke) has cancer and it is a very fast spreading cancer and has only a 50% chance servival with treatment, i dont have 2 to 3 thousand $ for the treatment so i am going to have to say my good bye's to him cause he only has a few months to live. My heart is bleeding, i love him so much. i feel like i haven't hade enough time with him he is only 3yrs old. i will have to put him down so he doesn't suffer, this is the hardest thing i have ever had to do. if any one else has had to experance anything like this and could make me feel better i would like to hear from you

Ohhh Kathryn, I am so sorry to hear about your Duke! (((((HUGS))))) to you and Duke. You are right for not wanting your boy to suffer. There are plenty of members on board here who have had to make that same decision, so they can most definately relate to your pain. I have never had to euthanize a boxer I have owned, and I dread the day that I may have to make a decision like that, but I know that if it is necessary so they do not suffer in pain, then I will allow my heart to let them go.
