Hello everyone, we have been away for a while but it seems it is always difficult to organise a meeting in the Atlanta area. We have recently found a new park in Alpharetta who is an offleash park with a lake. It would be a great place to meet and let them play safely . If anyone seem interested we would love to make that a regular meet . You can check out the park on the site and dont forget they need a rabies certificate and a temperament test,so our babies can be safe with no fight .

Let us know and sundays would be a great day for us as we work on saturday.
Bali loves to play :)

We cant attend the Bash as it is on a saturday ( we work :( ) and also like the idear of an offleash dogpark as the babies can really run around without having to worry about people complaining about them . We wish we could made it to your meeting and it will be fun i have no doubt.
For thoses who couldnt attend this might be another option and maybe a great way to have regular get together.

Sorry you can't make it.

As far as Royal Paws, it looks interesting, but it seemed a little pricey. I know of a few locations where I can let the dogs run off-leash and it's free to boot. If this location hosted a Boxer Bash/Meetup, I would consider attending, but personally I would prefer a little variety in location. Going to the same place every month would get a little old and in this case, costly.

Just My 2 Cents.

I agree with you for the price since it's a membership and we are up to meet anywhere, the good thing about it is how safe they made it , and a beautiful location.I also spoke to the owner of the place and said they would consider a boxer bash/meet and do a one time admission . But we are up for another place as well. We just want our baby to meet friends and play :)

Another place will work for us as well .I think tomorrow i will go speak to royal paws and see if they would do a one time admission price as well ( they have one for 15 $ a day so far on weekends and 10$ weekdays). What other parks around allow off leash and have a fenced area ? I have heard so many bad stories about piedmont and dog fights i wouldnt want to expose Bali to that . Let see what we can come up with :)

We have a park in Marietta called Lewis Park, it very close to the square in Marietta. The park is actually a softball field/dog park, so it is completely fenced and big enough for them to run like crazy. We live about a mile from the park and go there a few nights a week and have never had any problems. There are usally 5-10 other dogs to play with and some nights it's just us. The only problem is that the softball players have priority over the dog park/softball field, so if someone is up there to play softball you have to wait until they are done, this is actually pretty rare. If anyone is interested in meeting there sometime to check it out let me know and we'll try to be there, we are always looking for new boxers to play with.
