Excellent point on the exercise thing Dora and Laura! Your questions just made me realize that it is DH that tires her out usually by playing with her before he goes to bed. Since he's been gone she hasn't been getting as much play time. I definitely need to make sure I now do that if he is away. Thankfully, he came back last night and Emma was so excited to see him that she bounced around doing boxer burns all night and then slept through the night.
I also think you are all right in that I'm just going to have to suck it up and crate her even if I feel bad about it. DH goes on another business trip next week and I have to make sure both she is safe and I rest or we'll both be in bad shape. Thanks so much for all of your support. I now feel less like a bad selfish Mommy!
