ooooo this is a good thread for me...... i'm wondering where i'm going to plant my new forsythia so that tank doesn't eat it! i haven't even attempted flowers yet lol. as for scoobie snacks... my boyf asked me the other day if i carry them around because i always manage to have one when tank is behaving. if he did the laundry more then he would probably find "scooby snack" crumbs in my jean pockets lol..... ;)

hehe oddly enough, this was my second post about drugs... the first one was about someone's Boxer eating their cactus. I was concerned the dog might get high from it because that's what certain drugs are made from. I'm really not a drug addict

My two boxers think that my shrubs are a buffet. I think I am going to have to put some type of fencing around them. They tore the bark off my pussywillows this week, chewed up my star magnolia, and love the privet hedges. Its like a salad bar in the back yard. I do worry about these making them sick.

Andi you are absoRootrey amazing! I beRieve you!

BTW I am missin a cactus from the back yard too, didn't think it was them at first, but maybe they are just having themselves a big ol party when I am not looking. Maybe that is why they are so nutso! OK, so how do you ten step doggies?

no backyard

I have a large backyard. The patio side is the sid that the dogs get to play in. There is barely any grass, because of the digging, no flowers, I knew not to plant them. This is their yard.
We tried to plant grass-plugs. They thought they were toys. They were pulling them up and tossing them in the air. What a sight. Just had to laugh.

My poor husband has all these ideas for our backyard this summer. We just finished fencing the entire yard in and he wants to landscape and plant some really nice grass back there. Tyson has not done too much damage to our yard, but we are picking up Kyzar (our puppy) this weekend and I have heard that two boxers can make the most beautiful mud pit. ;)

cindy, it sounds like you have surrendered the yard over to Samson and Delilah. I wonder if our dogs know that we would do absolutely anything for them. Now had that been a skin kid, they would have gotten a whoopin and told not to touch the darn grass! LOL

Completely Boxer Crazy
I am giggling and smiling here for two reasons. First, Lillibirdie, my husband nicnamed me Skippy and he calls our dinners, "Scoopie Snacks."

Second, I know how the flower/plant thing goes. Someone, noooo, couldn't be Samson or Deilah, knocked one of my planters off of my front porch rail this week. A month ago, I carefully planted two of these full of beautiful matching flowers. Well...they are no longer matching. One is half empty now. Of course, it was late at night, and both dogs looked innocent when I found the flower box upside down below the porch. I am also getting ready to put up a SECOND fence around my garden. Ms. Delilah likes to shoot through it like a jackrabbit. The first fence is only barbed wire and she doesn't care if she runs through it. She doesn't get a scratch! She has downed a tomato plant, a pepper plant and a few stalks of corn. She doesn't even stop and notice what she is doing. What a mess!
