No Scooby Snacks!!!

AAaarg, I am so frustrated. I had sorta gave up the backyard to the dogs, but had hopes to at least have the large deck pots have flowers in them. I thought the "away from my garden" stuff was working really good, because the dogs were not plowing into and emptying the dirt out of the pots anymore, so I dared to put in some zinnias, about 5 inches tall, not blooming. All was well for a couple weeks, then I see one lil plant missing, no dirt mess, just a missing plant, then another, THEN I CATCH HIM! Gunner is standing as cool as can be in front of the pot nibbling himself a little snack, then oh so gently lifts it out to finish it. I get up and run out to the backyard yelling, THOSE ARE NOT SCOOOOOOBY SNAAAAAAACKS!!! At which point I hear laughter from across the bushes, in the neighbors yard, and also my family is busting up. I realize what I said and start laughing too. SooooooGunner sees everyone laughing and thinks we are all happy, and picks up his scooby snack and gulps it down....

This morning my daughter asks me if I am going to plant more scooby snacks...

that is too cute! Duke likes to eat plants too, but he is living at an apartment complex right now, so he can eat them. Where he will be moving soon, the neighbor has a beautiful landscaped yard, so hopefully Duke will stay out.

Ha ha! How cute! I would think about putting my flowers in one of those window holder things. Ha ha! (yeah I know that sounded quite un-educated, but I dont know what they are called! )
