Nighttime routine: what time does your boxer go to bed?

Happy and Sky usually fall asleep between 8 and 9pm. Sometimes in the living room on the couch but if we open the bedroom door for them they jump right on the bed and make themselves confortable 1 Usually I wake them up before I go to bed so they can go outside to the bathroom one more time. They don't like being waken up at all and I usually have to drag them outside. But if I end up not taking them outside, of course they have to go at 5 am :p
What's your boxers nighttime routine?

Juno typically goes to bed when the sun goes down, . So in the summer typically 8 or 9. In the winter she might be down as early as 6.

Farah usually falls asleep around 9:30 pm like clockwork. Then I take her out just before I go to bed at 12 to 1 am. It takes a lot of work to get her up though. I call her name several times before she opens her eyeballs and looks at me like, "What!? I'm trying to sleep here, gosh darnit!" Most of the time, she'll get up, stretch, and then go back to bed. Patience is key here. After that, she's dead to the world until 6 am. Sometimes I can persuade her after a potty break to go lay down for another hour but usually, she's up for the day at that time. I'm hoping that as she gets older, she'll sleep in a little bit longer. 8 am would be nice. :D

my pups pass out around 8 - 9 ish on the couch , sam will get tired of the pup laying on him and head to the bedroom , around 11 ish , last call , pup is up in a flash , sam sometimes not so much and will stay asleep in the bed , pup pottys , then in her kennel ( SHE HEADS THERE ON HER OWN NOW ) and i will crawl in bed with sam , if he makes room , . he will stay there for a few hrs , then get in his bed.

Well nobody really falls asleep for good until I go to bed. So they doze I don't know around 9:oo or 10:00 (but they doze off an on throughout the day), but then they eat and go to the bathroom around 1:00-3:00 AM and then we all permanently go to bed between 2:30 and 4:00 AM depending on the day. Mine sleepin crates so nobody is down 100% for the night before 2:00 AM and typically closer to 3:00 or 3:30 AM. But then they sleep in the AM until noon or so.

Tyson follows me around until i take my bath and do my bible reading about 9:15. I take him out one last time about 10:15 and then he sleeps until 6:00 am when we take our 1 hour walk, he then comes back and goes back to sleep until 10:00 a.m.

Rocky usually settles down around 10-10:30ish and will usually fall asleep on the couch next to me. When I decide to go to bed anywhere from 11-1am I say 'nah nights time' and he gets up and goes to the door so i can let him out. Then we come back inside, he grabs his blanket and drags it into the room with me and hops in bed with me

We get some snuggle time before the DH comes in and kicks rocky out to his bed which is on the floor next to my side of the bed.


Doggy daycare nights - he usually goes into the bedroom around 7:30 and lays down on our bed and couldn't care less when/if we even come to bed

My two eat supper between 7p and 8p..out in the back to play and to run off some energy...Laila usually will then climb up the stairs to my room and put herself to bed and Frazier doesn't leave my side but will lie on the couch until I say its bedtime and then up we go!!
They sleep through the night and we're up about 7am unless I have to work and then it"s 5:30 ...Frazier goes out to pee and Laila stays in bed until she hears and smells her breakfast then she wanders into the kitchen...such creatures of habit..I wonder where they learned it all!appicon

Our girls have dinner at 7 then usually play until 9:30 when hubby goes off to work. Then I head in to the office (to visit boxer world of course!) and they sleep on the couch. About 11:30 I tell them "toily then nye-nyes" so they head outside to potty and when I let them back in, they race straight to their beds where they'll stay until hubby gets home at 7 the next morning.

Incidentally, I can use the "toily then nye-nyes" command at other times too and it works (unless they haven't had dinner yet :p).

Last walk is at 9:00. Patrick comes right back in the house and waits for me in the bedroom. If I take too long he comes out and give me "the look".

First walk in the AM is at 5:00. He doesn't like that one so much but it is the only time we can get a good walk in before it gets too hot.
