Thanks everyone. I feel much better. It looks like she is scared, so I was curious, but it is pretty cute. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALLpartyicon

All my boxers have done that in their sleep. We had a beagle mix and he also ran in his sleep. Maybe they dream of falling off cliffs too.

I agree-nothing to worry about. The first time Roxy started running in her sleep I thought she was having a seizure she was running so hard! It scared the crap out of me but now I'm used to it-it's just one of her many quirks! Roxy also made sucking noises in her sleep probably until she was about 5 months old.

Yep, mine do a lot of the same things when they're asleep. I don't worry about it or try to wake them up. It's just a dog thing. It was cute to watch them dream of nursing and suck their tongues when they were babies.

Yeah, my Harley does the same and has done so from when we got him at 8 weeks.

it is soo cute that we stop watching TV (or whatever) in order to watch him.

You may want to do a search on " Active Sleep" this will give you a good idea of why they twitch and jerk around why they are sleeping. It has to do with muscle development. Kya is 1 yr and 2 mths and still does this.
