Hello everyone. My name is Heather and I have a 6 year old brindle named Dixie. About 6 months ago my living situation changed and I decided to let her go stay at my brothers house for a little while. She is so happy there and has really taken to his boxer pup. the two are so happy together that he thinks she should stay with him permanently.

So, I found this forum while looking at boxer pups on the net. I am not sure whats going to happen with Dixie yet, but if I do end up getting a puppy, it will most defiantely be another brindle female.

I do have unlimited access, but my brother lives an hour and a half away so I dont get to see her as often as I would like.

I cant figure out what would be best for her. Come home to the family that loves her or let her stay with the other family that loves her and their dog that adores her? I felt really good about the decision to send her there when I did it, but now I feel horrible. Is it possible she feels abandoned even though she is in a loving environment?
