newbie to boxers

My husband (Pete) and I (Amy) just got our first boxer puppy about 5 weeks ago. He's now 12 weeks (yesterday) and we're so excited b/c we can take him to the dog parks, puppy training, and stores now that he's had all his shots. This is our second go at having a dog...and this time around is PERFECT!!! Coltrane (our boxer, fawn) is wonderful. He was house broken within 1 1/2 weeks and he has ALWAYS slept through the night. He loves people so much and rarely barks at anyone. The kids in the neighborhood love him. I can't believe that in just 5 weeks he has gained so much weight...he's more than doubled in size (from 9 lbs to 22 lbs). It's hard to remember him that little!!

You think he's grown a lot now?? Just wait! I found a picture of Maggie the other day from when she was so little she couldn't get on the couch by herself. I used to "help" her up there. A friend was over, and saw the picture. He couldn't believe it was Maggles!

Take lots of pictures while he's little! I wish I had! :(
