Newbie here - Introducing Rocky ! ! !

[Sooner-Rocky]

Well they say this is required to be functional, this is not my strong-suite but for Rocky's sake here goes. This is my first boxer!! Although I have been a boxer admirer for years. I have always been a dog lover. Since i'm on my own now i've been planning on getting a dog for quite some time. Now that the time was right I went & picked up a 6 week old boxer puppy. He's a light brindle-flashy & couldn't be cuter! He does seem to be quite the little rascal (hopefully he will outgrow). Very hard decision on which puppy to pick, wanted to take them all :( He was however quite active & loved to chew on my facial hair so who could walk away from that ?

After long debates on the name I settled on my first choice of Rocky. Has to be very original right? Who else would name a BOXER Rocky? I figure pretty much 1/10 boxer owners, but after much deliberation i stuck with the name I loved after the movie character i admire. Oh well ive always been a dork, why stop now !

Anyways Rocky is progressing very nicely on his potty-training & crate training. He is the apple of my eye already, my world. appicon Rocky Rawks !

They are a gret breed! Welcome to being owned by a boxer. Angel (an original name as well wink!wink!) is still a rascal sometimes even at 5yrs old! Most of the stuff is funny though! Actually if you would have said your boxers name was tyson then for sure you would have a really popular name. As of yet I have not met a Rocky believe it or not and I have met a lot of boxers. Best of luck with your new edition. Cherish the puppy times as they grow so fast.:D

One of the most endearing things about Boxers is that they are forever puppies at heart. They can become mature responsible members of the pack, but they will exhibit a joy of life throughout their years.
