I have been browsing the boards for a few days now, and thought I would finally take some time to "wave" and say hello.

My mothers family raised Boxers as I was growing up, so I was used to being around them.

Now, that I have bought my first home, married, and settled, I decided to buy a dog. It just happened that a friend of mine just got a 5 month old pup, but was not able to keep him due to the change in the landlord laws. He let my mom babysit for a while, and then he came home with me.

He was born 11/4/03 which also happens to be my husbands birthday. He is 7 months old. I named him Cain, and just sent his AKC papers off.

I just love him to death!!!

Anyway, dont want to ramble too much, I am sure I will be reading and posting alot.

Hahah - you know what's funny? I saw the Subject and then "Rachel P." on the main boards - I thought my sis had registered and said hello, because our last name starts with a P!! Obviously not! :)

Aaaaaaanyhoo - welcome to the boards from a fellow Okie! I'm in Tulsa for the summer, but I live in Stillwater & go to OSU.

I just got my puppy a month ago - his name is Ajax & he's a 5 1/2 month Brindle... love him to death, even though he is really scrawny and small (for a Boxer!)

Hi everyone From New Zealand!!!

Hi everyone, Im new here!

My names Melissa and im from new zealand, I've seen alot of pictures of peoples boxers on this site and they are all lovely!! :)

I own 2 one brindle and white male "Cid" And a red and white female yet to be named (where getting her in 3 weeks time)

I can't wait till we get her! :)

Well - she's pretty cool alright, the only thing is that she doesn't own any Boxers. She's just around my Boxer Ajax a lot since we live together.

She keeps claiming she wants to get a little lap dog, but honestly I don't see her having the commitment to keeping an animal.... but that's how it goes, isn't it?

It's a good thing she has enough wits about her to realize that - keeps a poor dog from getting stuck in (hopefully) a rescue or unfortunately a shelter or pound. And we all know what happens there... :(
