and my dogs face when he see,s copies of himself jumping around sounds great
I would go anywhere in the five boroughs and Long Island for that!

well, May is fast approaching and I guess we should start to pick a date that would suit evryone the best. What would be good for everyone. Like I said earlier, late May would be best for myself. Anyone else have any input?

As long as it's a weekend I should be okay - we might even do an early evening if it's still crazy hot like it is right now, so it'll be a bit cooler and the pups can run around.

The weekend works for Rudy & I as well ( 9 weeks this past Saturday). The heat has been a real factor the past couple of days so maybe we should lock in a date and determine a time the week of depending on the weather.

My new pup has been great, However any recommendations / advice on helping him with his teething would be welcomed. I have plenty of chew toys of all shapes, sizes, textures, etc...I look forward to meeting everyone next month.

I would love to know when you plan on doing this. I live in PA but near Easton, so really not that far for NY. We got a white boxer pup a couple of months ago. He is now 4 1/2 months old and he is wonderful. I am sure that he would love to play and make new friends. He's a good boy and lots of fun and full of energy.

so what would everyone think of Saturday, May 18. I'm not sure what time would be best if early morning, or evening would be better due to temperature, or an all day deal? It's time to hammer out the details, so hope everyone has input.

That's actually not a good day for Bentley and I - we'll have relatives in town that we need to be with - the following weekend would be much better for us. Is that a bad weekend for you?

Boxer Bash

The afternoon of the 18th works for us, we have a vet appointment @ 10:45 AM on Saturday. I can also make the following weekend if the group decides on that, However keep in mind that is the Memorial Day weekend. Either weekend will work for us & I look forward to meeting everyone.

There are several other Boxer owners in my neighborhood and I would like to pass the word to them once we establish the date & time. I can't wait to see the other dog owners & dogs when a bunch of Boxers show up to take over the dog run. Imagine all the energy and beauty of a dozen Boxers having a blast

Hi,

I think the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend will work (5/25)...my only concern is that not as many people and dogs will be able to make it, as a lot of people take the opportunity to go away that weekend. I guess we can get a consensus of how many people can make it that weekend versus another one, say May 11th (the weekend before the proposed May 18th), and then we can decide based on the number of dogs available. I think it will be a lot more fun with a larger number of boxers in attendance.

I really have to cast my vote for the 25th or any other day that weekend - neither of the earlier weekends will work for me since the semester will be winding down with term papers and I'll have relatives in town.
