Thanks Helene I gues if I would have stopped to consider Brindle is light body dark stripes, so reverse would be dark body light stripes, My sweetie is golden brown with darker shading down her back a thin white blaze on her face some white on her chest and four white paws one black nail on her right hind foot

nice to meet you thanks for the warm welcome, so far there is no better place to go to on the web.and such fun! Jacki is alot of fun she's growing like a weed and that energy...............I should figure out how to get some!!! I haven't figured out how to do the picture thing yet don't know how to make them smaller from a scan or a digital camera. someday though I have an absolute CUTE one of her with my nefew it would be a scan. Any one out there that can make it easy for a computer dummie?:o
So Bonnie do you show your horses? When I lived in Yakima Wa we had a few some good some not so good, always ended up buying green broke or not broke saw alot of the ground in those days........ Thanks again for the warm welcome have a good week

Hi!

I used to show my walkers, but it got to the point where your so-called "friends" would stab you in the back if you won a ribbon. I couldn't believe how warped people would get over a piece of material. It was okay when they were winning and I wasn't, but when I bought my gelding (he's a walkin - noddin fool), no one could beat him. I finally decided that the show scene wasn't any fun and decided to just ride for my own pleasure. Now my guys are field ornaments (trying to get our new farm all together). I haven't had time to ride but will be getting back into it soon. Oh well . . . .

Chelsea sends big boxer kisses to your new baby girl and we look forward to talkin to you soon!

That is so sad sabout showing horses, I had heard that it was not always a fun thing even in the 4-H ranks here in Wassington.
Pretty Pathetic.
Anyhow the Walkers were always my favorite to watch BEAUTIFUL animals, my neibhbors had walkers. And then the Cart Ponies wer always so cute, and showey.
My daughters keep asking for another horse, they don't even live with me any more but we live on 10 acres and their horse was one of their best childhood memories...She was an Appy mare and the best baby-sitter I ever had she loved the kids they could do anything with that horse, she didn't care to be ridden by adults
though probably she had to mind better!!Any way have a good day.
Oh, is there such a thing as getting the farm in order??????:rolleyes:

I'm beginning to wonder if the farm will ever be exactly the way I want it:confused:

There is always something to do . . . poop duty, mowing, weed wacking, tractor repairs, more poop duty etc. etc. etc.:eek: To be honest with you, I love every minute of it. This is my dream come true:D
