I want to introduce myself and I hope I'm welcome here since I do not own a Boxer. I have two Rotts and a Doberman, all rescues. I do admire Boxers very much though. :D Boxers are my third favorite breed and I very well someday could end up with one. Before that, I would need to know about the breed and this seems like a good place to learn. Plus I'm active in rescue here in Phoenix (Rottweiler and Doberman rescue) and I have people asking me about other breeds when they are looking for the perfect dog to add to their lives. So, if I know more about Boxers I hope I can steer the right families to them or try to keep some people from making a big mistake and getting the wrong dog for them. Hope that makes sense.
From the little I've seen of this forum you have a very good group here and I hope you don't feel that I'm just butting in where I don't belong.
thanks for reading

Of course you are welcome. It is nice to have you here with us. I believe you'll have a boxer in no time after spending some time here. It's always good to research before you decide so you're doing the right thing. It is also nice what you do for the rescue.
We hope you enjoy your stay.:)

Of course you are welcome here, any doglover is welcomed on Boxerworld. Enjoy the forums, and congrats on your decision to rescue the Doberman and Rotties that you own now. Rescuing a furbaby in need, regardless of the breed, is the most rewarding thing a person can do. We are presently owned by Kailee, our
3 1/2 yr old brindle female. She too is a rescue that joined our family when she was just 2 yrs of age. Enjoy the forums, and for sure by the time you do get a boxer you will be well informed on the breed and what to expect.

Thanks for the warm welcome. This forum is very friendly and I have been having a good time admiring your dogs. :) I have a couple friends who are owned by Boxers and I'm going to let them know about this forum.
You guys are great! Dog people are the best in the world anyway. I don't care what breed you have there is a kindered spirit there when it comes to our "kids".
