I found it was best to reserach as many sites as you can find. Your best start is to get a pad and pencial and read every Raw Diet forum you will find on this site. Each time you find something interesting, make notes. Thourought the forums, you will find many references to other sites to further your research.

The benefits to your dog are SO worth it!!

Why? Because raw food does wonders! Benefits can include more energy, shinier coat, clean teeth, allergies gone, they love to eat, can be cheaper, and the best bit, no more large smelly poops 10x a day! Its small, hard, 1-2 times a day and turns to dust :D

Its not processed, its raw meat that dogs were designed to eat :D

Ditto on what Checkers said with one caveat. In order for a raw diet to be cheaper than kibble, you have to be diligent about finding sales or hooking up with a group in your area that does wholesale. If you get to that point, there's a forum dedicated to finding people in your area. It's in Yahoo! groups. Also, no stinky dog-breath!
