Boxer Pal
Hi!
My dh and our 3 kiddos (5, 3 1/2, & 20 mths.) just got our first boxer pup on Saturday. He is absolutely adorable and we love him to pieces already.
His name is Mudge (after the Henry & Mudge children's books) and he's 6 weeks old. I was concerned about how young he was and if he really should have come home with us yet. He's just a tiny guy, only 6 lbs. 6 oz. But, he's actually doing great!
We started potty training immediately and he's got it down! I can't believe how fast he's caught on. My kids shocked me by being terrified of him at first, but just this morning I was pleasantly surprised to see my oldest showing him tons of affection. He's even figured out how to distract him with his favorite toy if he starts nipping at him.
Anyway, I'm so glad to have found this board! Can't wait to get to know everyone and their boxers!
