new to all this puppy stuff

I have had boxers before but never a puppy. i now have harvey whom is now 12 wks old and just like a baby. i have a 6 month old baby and harvey keeps licking her and sitting in her chair laying with her eating her food. how do i remind my dog he aint a baby.
how do i stop him from pooing in kitchen when ever i take kids to school. he is clean when i'm home but when i leave for all of 20mins i come back and he has weed and pooed?????????????????

As for the pottying issues, do you crate him? Crate training is a great tool that can help with potty training, as (generally speaking) the pup will learn to "hold it" while in the crate, to avoid sitting in his own mess.

well, puppies are babies. They need to learn how to act, how to use the washroom outside, when its appropriate to play, how its appropriate to play etc.

If you donmt want him laying in the babies chair, remove him from it. If you dont want him eating your kids food, dont let him eat it and make sure your kids dont feed him their food. If your kids feed him their food, you cant scold him because he'll be getting mixed signals and wont understand what is wanted of him.

Like courtney said, a crate is a good way to keep him from making a mess, or a pen that is small enough just to give him space to lie down in. If all he has is space to lie in, he wont go to the washroom because he wont want to lie in it. Providing he is left alone for a realistic period of time. I cant seen an 12 week old puppy holding himself for 6 hours.
