Welcome to Boxerworld!

Hope you get lots of joy from your new puppy! Boxers are full of fun, love and general silliness - but they're also very intelligent. Basic rule - be firm and fair and you'll get lots of fun and love in return! The Boxerworld site has lots of information and advice.

Kids

Boxers love kids and vice versa - all the kids who live near us come to visit Caoimhe regularly and she just loves all the attention!

Im sure youre extremly excited.
Make sure your camera is working or you will regret it.
stock up on old news papers, cleaning cloths and towels.
Find out the number of your vet. Get some nice yummy things in such as plain yoghurt cheese chicken and cottage cheese, dont forget to have available water ready, and let out to encourage toilet training every ten to fifteen mins. Dont forget to get some chewy toys, and begin socialising from day 1 . The pup will probably be spending all day napping at first Good luck!

he's arrived!

thankyou for your replies! He's here now and absolutely beautiful! He loves the children like you have all said.Im not quite sure about this crate training though. The first day he kept going in and out and seems to enjoy being in there, but as expected at night he howled and barked.I came downstairs, let him out,he did his business and i put him back in.Just as i got comfy, again he started, i so much wanted to come back down and take him upstairs but i never and after 20 minutes all was quiet. The trouble is i dont know when to let him out to do his business,do you have regular intervals or just put him to bed late and get up early or what?I dont know what to do for the best.Im so glad we chose him hes absolutely great!
