new puppy

Hello everyone, my name is Mark and I am a new member. My girlfriend and I will be receiving our puppy in seven weeks (6 weeks and 4 days) from now and we just can't wait. I have a question about what kind of puppy food to feed our little girl. By the way, her name is Lola and she is a fawn puppy with a white stripe, white belly and toes. She still has a pink nose and is the cutest tootsie roll ever.

Hi Mark. First congrats on the new furkid. I know what it's like to wait because we picked our puppy at one week old. I have fed him Canidae since six weeks old and it's for all life stages. It's a very good premium food but you can only get it online or pet stores. There are a lot of good choices like Wellness, Innova, Chicken Soup For The Pet Lovers Soul, Natural Balance etc. Good luck with everything and post pix when you can.

Welcome to BW! I'm also a new member. I've had my puppy for almost 2 weeks now(she's a flashy brindle female), we're both adjusting! I've never had a dog before, how about you?

As for puppy food, our breeder suggested the brand Wellness. She actually feeds her dogs raw chicken, but this is what she recommends for kibble. I'm no expert though, so ask around
