I got Daytona microchipped at 3 and1/2 months..and it also was around 30 dollars to get done and then an extra 12.50 to register her number..that you ahve t mail in with all their info...good luck with your new baby!

Buy - or better yet - find in your closed - old towels and blankets -- a puppy will soil the crate - and you'll need to keep up.
Regarding soiling: you might also want to get a colour free/scent free eco friendly laundry soap; as dogs are very sensitive to scents...
:D and stock up on coffee - and comfy shoes (always a reason to buy shoes!) because you'll be running out to potty with the puppy very often :D

I found them at Petco.
There is a solution called bitter apple that deters chewing, that can be found at Petco/ Petsmart too.
You will need lots of patience, be prepared to get frusterated and for accidents. Keep in mind- it's hard for the puppy too. Good Luck! They are fun to snuggle with lovicon and it gets easier as they get older!

thanks for all the great replied everyone! I picked up little Rusty today and got all my supplies. the breeder was feeding Rusty Bil Jac puppy chow. I've been reading that they don't actually need puppy chow and the adult stuff is ok? If I want to switch, do I still need to wean him off the puppy and onto the adult? check out my gallery for pics!!!

Congrats on your new Baby..appicon Rusty is so cute!! I think you already got lots of good advice.. Just remember puppy hood although fun it can be trying at times, but remember they are little babies with fur coats, and Just like skin kids (Human) it takes a lot of patience because they are just learning and really aim to please. also lots lots of patience needed with their potty training.. Mosty Lots of LOVE, But after puppy hood is over,and the training is all done, You'll wonder what happen to your little guy and how'd he get so big, cause they grow up really fast. So take lots of photos. Good Luck and enjoy the wonderful world of loving and owning a Boxer but as you will soon discover.. It is they who own us more then we own them..~Vickie
