I know boxers are goofy but what is in your yard that is so dangerous
As others have stated there are bees, wasps, mosquitos, ants, there are also rocks, dirt, and grass, which many dogs will eat all three things and either become sick or have it become an obstruction, there's feces which many pups go through a phase of eating feces which isn't exactly healthy, I've had my dog try to eat sticks before, there are air conditioning/heating units in back yards many times which can be chewed and become dangerous or a puppy can get stuck near them, many people have BBQ's, if you have a wooden fence a bored Boxer can destroy a wooden fence without a second thought, puppies can dig out (you'd be AMAZED at what they can fit through!), grown dogs can dig or jump, Boxers are also the #1 STOLEN dog in most of the states in the USA and can very easily have someone break into your yard and steal your dogs, especially a puppy that would EASILY be worth $500+ if someone wanted to steal it to sell it to someone else and make a quick buck. Then there are just plain mean people who open backyard gates for the sole purpose of simply letting your dog(s) out so you don't have them anymore. Really, the possibilities are absolutely ENDLESS.
Not to mention it's SUMMER it's HOT and Boxers are NOT dogs that do well with either cold or hot days and it's allergy season which many Boxers have allergies. Pets should NEVER ben left in a yard unattended for any length of time, it simply isn't safe. A grown dog has the mentality of about a 3 year old human child, would you leave your 3 year old human child in the backyard alone? Of course not. Shouldn't with your dog either. Either keep them in the house in a crate, pen, whatever, but definitely NOT outside.
