Congrats!
I am also new to Boxer World and so far have just been reading for information. I got my baby a week ago and he was 4 months old yesterday. His name is Buddy.
I have been to the vet for his intial check up and they assure me the runny eyes are common in boxers. He is also just starting to lose his milk teeth so he chews on everything!!! By the look of my house you would think we had 5 children running around but they are all Buddy's toys - lots for him to chew on.
I have fallen in love in a week and I hope you enjoy yours as much!lovicon

Welcome to BW!!! Boxers will make any day a good day. I am in the process of reading The Culture Clash and it is a great book so far. I will move on to The Dog Listener next. I cant wait to see pics of your boxer.

:D Welcome to BW! Fellow Canuck here! Congrats on the new addition to the family. You are going to love this adventure and if you have skin babies, Spike will have all the playmates he needs. I found lots of toys helped with the chewing phase as well as I took his rope toy wet it and then froze it ( his favourate toy at that time) make sure he has lots to chew on and a kong is always a good toy too fill it with kibble then stuff the end with peanut butter or chez wiz it will encourage him to chew on the kong (praise him when he does chew on it ). And always remember this is just a part of the growing up period and it will pass just have a lot of love and understanding and most of all Patience. You are going to love this ride. If you are able post pics I would love to see your baby.
