Hello Everyone, I just registered today. I have a 6 year old red fawn male. I rescued him from a shelter when he was 2 years old he had been through two families prior to mine, and beaten to be made mean. Both families gave him up because he had bitten the hands that fed him. He is 100 lbs, and has never came after me personally, although I can't say that for everyone he has known. He is a good boy and loves his mama, his step-dad and my two kids. Everyone that knows his says they swear he would get in on the conversation if he could talk. We also just rescued a barely a year old Rottweiler female, she is about 100 lbs also and has been beaten pretty bad in her short life, but she has a more submissive attitude than Chance, I say that because when she came to us she would cower and roll over everytime we reached for her collar or moved a hand towards her. But Chance just loves her, I think he was getting tired of being an only dog. Well thats us, at least as much as I will fit in our introduction!! Glad to be a part of this site,

I will post some pics as soon as I get my memory sticks for the digital camera cleared off from the honeymoon. I am getting ready for ACL replacement surgery on Thursday 20th. So I am going to be immobile for a while. I'll have plenty of time on my hands to work on pictures.
