Not sure if this is where I should be posting this. We have a 1yo girl at home and she is very close to my partner and I. She travels with us most of the time and spends most of our time with us. I am looking at getting a wee chinese crested female (they are about the size of a maltese and are very dainty dogs). Ali is quite a boisterous, bossy female and can stand up to most female adults and even males. She likes to play with cats and smaller dogs however I think she enjoys the chase and tormenting them more. She has never hurt another dog and Im sure she wouldnt its just she is so energetic and im worried that she would frighten or wear out a wee puppy of that breed no time.
Could someone help me? I think the chinese crested is beautiful and I want to give Ali the chance to accustom herself to another animal and learn how to share her home. What is the best way to introduce a smaller breed to a larger dog, particularly female to female? Is there a particular age where boxers are more likely to accept other dogs of the same sex into their pack?

They get along great with my mom's goldens and with my Evie & Adam. My pups just love playing with the little doggies!!
