Welcome to BW and congrats on your new baby! :) You will have plenty of time to learn all you need to know here at BW before you bring her home! :)

Welcome to BW! Enjoy this site it is great! Can't wait to see and hear all about your girl. Love her name. I am also waiting to bring home a new baby girl. The wait will probably seem like a year instead of 5 weeks.

OK, she is 6 weeks now! So she comes home in 1 or 2 weeks! I am soooo excited! But I do have a question. We just met another lady who has a litter of boxer pups. They are 9 weeks old and there are 3 left. They are all brindles, which is what I originally wanted. They are also $50 less than Emma. I have already fallen for Emma, so there is no way she's not coming home. BUT, is it really that much more work to have 2 babies than 1? What would yall do?

We are near charlotte, NC.

Welcome to Boxerworld from Zoey and I!!!

I would go for 2 if I were you! I got Zoey, and about a week after I got her I was wishing I had a brother for her. Her brother will be here this fall or next spring. Let us know what you decide, and enjoy BW!

OK, thanks. Does anyone have any input on a sex? She didnt say their sexes, and we forgot to ask. Is there anything that would go better with a girl? We would get them both spayed/neutered. Thanks guys!

From what I have read on here, the best pairs are male/female. The female/female pairs often seem to start fights, and can also happen with male/male pairs. You can do a search on female/female fighting and same with male to find out what others have to say on the subject. I would pick a little boy to go with your girl if I were you ;) Let us know what you decide!!! I'm sooo jealous!

Hi Sam, I too am new to BW. I have recently brought two boxer babies into our family. Annie and Hummer are brother and sister from the same litter. We only planned on one baby boxer but circumstances and his beautiful eyes swayed me to bring home two. We have no regrets. Two can be a handful at times but I think the advantages definately outweigh this.
Best of luck with your decision.
Lindy.
