New Game?

Does anyone else's boxer do this?:
Boomer has a very favorite toy-it's a stuffed smiley face with easter bunny ears that used to wiggle and shake and giggle when you shook it. It was my son's and it stopped working a while back, so my son gave it to Boomer to play with and he loves that stupid thing! I guess it's sort of like a ball, but it has those ears and he carries it around by them. Well, anyway, the other night he was entertaining himself with this toy by throwing it up, catching it then running. Then he would drop it and keep on running past it, then run as fast as he could by it and try to grab it up off of the floor. It was so funny!! But even better than that was he picked it up, and instead of throwing it, he started bucking himself around just like a bucking bull at a rodeo!! Don't know how many rodeo fans we have on here, but that's the only way I know to describe it. I'm going to try to film it so someone else can see him do it since only myself and my son have seen it.

But even better than that was he picked it up, and instead of throwing it, he started bucking himself around just like a bucking bull at a rodeo!!

mateus likes to take his stuffed animals and shake them as hard as he can side to side meanwhile he is basically smacking himself in the head by shaking it so hard. it is so funny, he basically beats himself but loves it. crazy puppy!!

Jaz pounces her stuffed toys like a cat. She also does the shaking of the toys, too. I have also noticed that the squeakers in her stuffed toys drive her absolutely nuts! It is so funny to see her bark because we are squeaking the toys.

You Betcha! Sprokit does this all the time!! Either with his rope Dolly...or his Rope....Buck, buck, buck away...goes in circles too!!!!

Our boxer Patsy does this too! She likes to bring you her squeaky toy and she will stand there until you try to take it and she will keep moving her head away when you try to get it. Eventually you can get it and throw it and she will run and bring it back again. :D When she gets really wound up she sounds like Chewbacca on Star Wars! LOL

Joey likes to play that...he will fetch the ball run past you.. drop it on the way by and off down the hall again before you even throw it when he gets tired he will stay just far enough away and lay down with the ball in his mouth.

[Me&Morphy]

Morpheus loves his toys. He doesn't destroy them. But he'll give them a good shake. His favorites are the ones that actually makes noises or have voices. He makes me push the button so it talks, throw it, and he fetches ,but before he returns to me he's stomping up and down until he makes it talk himself. Hours of fun.

The Audobon Society has a line of toy birds with their actual calls. Morphy loves the loon and the bluebird.

When it comes to "ball" he fetches and does the regular stuff, but he really loves to play soccer. He'll guard his ball, I'll pretend to kick it and he'll lunge to the side not once taking his eye off the ball. If I put my foot on the ball He'll just stare at it . If I flinch, he'll flinch. He doesn't try to get it, just waits. Meanwhile slobber and bubbles are coming out his mouth. Usually everyone at the dog park Is watching him watch the ball. He could care less who's running by.

Otis does this too!! It's a HOOT!! OR he'll have his squeaky toy in his mouth and walk around, squeaking the toy every couple of steps. I just love watching him play!:D
