New from Western PA

Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm from Western PA and have a 3 year old fawn female boxer named Bella who I couldn't live without. She is so wonderful. She has natural ears and her tail is docked. Bella just had surgery 3 weeks ago to repair her meniscus (i'm not sure of the spelling of that) in her left rear leg. She is doing great and can now go on short walks. I'm sure you can imagine a boxer who is not allowed to exercise for three weeks! No jumping on the couch, running, or walks around the block. Just on a leash to do her business and back in the house. Especially hard because she has a doggie door and a huge fenced in back yard, both improvements we made this summer. I'm excited to become a part of this site!

Glad to have you on board. I have an 9 year old brindle, who is the sweetest dog I have had in my life. I sure am glad I didn't have to put my boxer's exercise on hold for 3 weeks. Chuck

HI, I am also new to this forum. My male is a 2 year old flashy fawn. We are from Northeast Pa. Scranton. My dog's name is Ekim which is Mike spelled backwards,( after husband and son ). my son brought him home when he was 9 weeks old and insisted that it was to be his dog. Well he ended up being my dog. ekim is my best friend and I love him with all my heart. He was sick this past winter and needed to be kept inactive for a few weeks. I know what a task that was . All is well now and he is doing better. I am glad to be able to chat with others about their boxers. We are a class by ourselves. Good luck with your boxer, hope to chat soon.
