JOSH & NIC

Boxer Pal
Hello my name is Josh and I have two wonderful boxer dogs. Kali is my first, she will be 1 year old 8-22-05 and Huggy Bear is the new puppy who will be 13 weeks 8-4-05. My wife and I have been married for 3 years now and boxers are the only dogs we've had together and they'll be the only kind of dog we ever have. I have read a lot of threads here on Boxer World about the silly quirks boxers do and I have to say all of them apply to Kali and Huggy. Huggy is feeling sick right now he has twice the normal high levels for white blood cells and the vet isn't really sure what is wrong with him. We have him on two different medications right now Amoxicillian and Remedill, sorry I'm not sure if those are spelt correctly in fact I'm pretty sure they aren't but you can probably sound it out and know what I mean. I look forward to posting on your threads and sharing my experiences with you and hearing your all the wisdom out there to be offered.

Thank you,
Josh

Hi Josh, welcome to Boxerworld. This is a great site for all sorts of information (and for just chatting about boxers), so hopefully you'll be able to find some useful information in the forums here. I hope you enjoy the site.

Hello and welcome to BW! I do hope Huggy gets to feeling better soon. I can't wait to see some pictures of your babies. :)

Thank you

Thank you for your replies. I will try to take some pictures of Kali and Huggy that are the right file size and put them in my gallery. It may take me a little while to figure out how to do so. Is it pretty simple? They both come to work with Nicole and me everyday. They are with us just about 24/7 except if we have to go into a store or if we go to a movie. We've had huggy for six weeks now and he has only been in the kennel about 4 times. We love our dogs and love to see others out there who love their dogs too. I will post on how Huggy progresses.

Huggy's Recovery

Huggy is doing a lot better today. He now talks to us and licks the air when we talk to him and he now is eating a drinking a little bit on his own. He still isn't 100% and every once in a while he will cry if he tries to do the Kidney Bean dance when he gets excited. I have tried to attach some pictures of the two of them, they'll probably take a little while to get approved. I also have a really cute picture that Nicole and I call "Buns" we have both of them sitting next to each other and staring at the camera with their ears flopped back to look like hair buns (Neither of their ears are cropped). Thank you all for your encouragement, it means a lot to Huggy, Kali, Nicole and me.
