I am a recent finder of the BW site. Unfortunately I only found it while researching puppies to try and replace our (me, wife, and 2 kids) long loved family member "Louis" who left us 2 months ago. Although we have become fairly knowledgeable about the breed over the 12 years that Louis was with us, there are times when it would have been nice to exchange info or have some sympathetic ears(eyes) during his last days.
Louis was a flashy fawn with a mostly black mask, natural ears, and docked tail. Maybe not a "show" dog, but beautiful nonetheless and a great temperament. He truly loved his family, which he considered to be anyone who was even somewhat of a regular visitor at our house.
After his leaving, we decided to wait on finding another. We didn't want to rush into it just to fill a void, but as time goes on, I'm missing Louis more and wanting another one more (my wife also). Well, long story longer, I've found myself looking (internet) at breeders in the midwest and came upon this site. I did some looking around and decided to join.
Hopefully this didn't ramble on too much and it's not meant to be depressing. It's the first time I've put anything about his passing into words and it still really bothers me. He means alot to us.

I have found a alot of good advice & interesting things about the breed! I can't wait to see some of the boxer traits shine! :D. We were just in Rochester over the weekend for a Just for Kix dance competition! My daughters class got first !!! appicon I got lost in that town with the construction, and bad directions. But we had a nice time. Wish it wasn't as windy driving & the gas wasn't so high!
