New food?

I have a 2yr old Fawn female and recently she looks as if she has lost weight.
We haven't changed her food or anything I was wondering if anyone could suggest maybe som different food. Currently she is on Royal Canin Boxer specific. thanks

How about something like Chicken Soup, Canidae, or Innova? Those are all very good quality premium foods (and a lot better than RC).

There is some good information about how to choose a good quality dry dog food on our feeding page at www.boxerworld.com/feeding The information there should enable you to assess just about any food just from reading the ingredients on the label.

Or if you don't feel like reinventing the wheel, you could simply choose one from the Whole Dog Journal's annual list of quality foods. They are independant of any food manufacturer, so give good unbiased advice. And they use selection criteria very similar to that outlined on our feeding page. Duncan's Dad, I used to live in Indiana and I know that PetSupplies Plus carries Solid Gold and some of the other premium dog foods. There is a pet store in Broad Ripple that carries premium food as well as a place in Fishers or Carmel. (not sure if you live near Indianapolis or not)
