When I was looking into a vet to do Roxy's ears, I called my local Boxer club. My breeder did recommend a vet to do the crop but seeing as I was inexperienced with the procedure I wanted to find a vet closer to me than the breeders so that they could do the aftercare. The boxer club will probably have several and you can pick the one that is most convinient for you. Call ahead of time since you will probably have a waiting list and you need to get your pup in before 12 weeks.

Scrapper's ears were cropped at 8 weeks - but we had months and months of taping - until he was almost 8 months old. He has the long show crop, but I think the result was worth the effort. Check with your breeder, or the regional Boxer club to get a good referral for an ear cropping vet. This is as much a work of artistry as a medical procedure so it pays to get an experienced vet.
