Funny you mention that, I was checking out the food yesterday. I think I would try it, but I have to have something for my adult and puppy and it is not recommended for puppies. I am trying Timberwolf now, but I have to order it. I could probably get the Wellness Core in my town. I might give it a go when my puppy turns a year.

My critters were on the core for about 2.5 months, but Piper started getting ear infections, so I switched them back to SG last week to see if it was the food. The kitties are still on it though, and it's working fine for them.

I just started my 2 on the CORE and they seem to love it. Izzy is usually a picky eater, but she loves the CORE. I was wondering ,too ,what others thought of this food. I thought it would help them both put on some weight, but they both seem to be losing a little weight. Both my babies could put on a few pounds. Gus is 9 months old, but I think he is okay on the adult food. I would love to hear if anyone else has tried this food, and if they like it. I haven't noticed any change except they seem to have lost a few pounds when they don't need to. I have only gone thru one bag so far, so maybe it has nothing to do with the food. I like the idea of the food. I was thinking the food would help to put on healthy muscle weight (like they need more muscle!!!).
Izzy is 2 years old, 23.5 inches at the withers and 55 pounds. Gus is 9 months old, 26 inches at the withers and also 55 pounds. Both of them you can see their ribs and some backbones. I feed my dogs good quality food, and people probably think I am starving them!!! I even feed them more than what the bag recomends.
I also started my cats on the wellness CORE. I mix it with the healthy weight food , otherwise they would inhale the food!!!! Some of my cats even like to eat the CORE dog food! It must be really good. The dogs are very nice and share.

We are transitioning Splash onto Core right now and he LOVES IT!!!!

Anybody have updates on how their dogs are doing on Core?

Splash is doing great!! He loves it. And knock on wood he hasn't had any issues. His poops are normal and is still maintaining his shiny coat. No allergies to speak of. I think we have a winner!!!

Stella looks FABULOUS, dahling, on Wellness Core. I'm also feeding my lab the reduced fat Core, and he seems to have much more energy.

Well, I spoke to soon about how well Splash was doing on Core. He had been doing fine, but we noticed a little blood in his stools occasionally.Today he had a lot and we made an appt with the vet. He went today and she said it was the food. It wasn't agreeing with his stomach. So we need to change foods again....I know each dog is different so hopefully you don't have the same problems.

We also are transitioning over to Core from TWO, so far so good. Im treading water, keeping my fingers crossed. It sounds like such a good food, their customer service is unbelievable, just fantastic. I hope I finally found a keeper.
