New coat, early Christmas present

Cami's new coat came today. It's the Ruff-Wear brand that was highly rec'd from fellow BW members.
She loves it and we tested it out this afternoon....bone chilling cold. She was her normal prancing deer self with it on. She does MUCH better with a coat on during walks VS going a-la' naked. I think that she feels "pretty" in clothes and likes to act like a grown-up verses the crazy girl that she really is!

I am SO glad that we went with the medium....it fit's great with even room to spare in case she decides to put on a few pounds or inches. Based on the companies sizing information we could have easily gone with the large and that would have been way too big for her.

Anyhow, just wanted to share that it is a great coat and seems well made...should be for the $$$.....she's worth it.

Sorry to hear that Asia doesn't like the coat. Does she like any other type of coat? Cami's whole demeanor changes when you put something on her. She act's as if she "is all that and a biscuit!"

Been telling hubby that I was going to paint her nails when she was sleeping, I bet they would look really nice. He say's that I can't even think about it....SO I will just have to continue playing dress-up with her. I think the booties are next....wonder if she would hold still long enough for me to put them on her. She does hate to have her feet messed with.

Susi – how much does Cami weigh? Owen got his new Ruff-Wear coat also, he loves it also. He weighs 55 pounds (still growing) and he is totally in between sizes. I actually ordered both the Medium and Large so I could compare the 2 and plan to return one. I found the Medium fits great around his chest but it’s so short on him, his whole backside is open. The Large covers that area but kind of floats on him, but not too bad though. I went with the Large figuring he’s still growing so next year it will fit him better. Typical problem fitting clothes to Boxers.

Cami is 55-57 pounds depending on the day. The coat hits her just at the base of her nub and I have had to cinch it up on the sides so she will be able to gain a few pounds and it will still fit her. I really like this coat. We got a medium.
