Boxer Booster
It is personal choice. I decided with both Jackson and Rudy not to crop. My BF wanted it done, and it is not an option for me. I apply it to my own life choices - do I want to go under without a valid cause. I guess I am not a promoter of cosmetic surgery - cannine or human.

Super Boxer
Bo's mama, Brandi is my 1st boxer and I decided to have her ears cropped. If your breeder is willing to take your pup to her vet and help you with taping, that is a great advantage. Taping time really depends on the individual dog. Brandi required 3 tapings = 22 days and she's all done. The fur on her ears is growing back and the scabbing is going away. I kind of freaked out at the beginning as they seemed too short to me and the edges were bloody but they look really nice now. Be prepared for that, but luckily for you, you have the 10 dogs to use as a reference. Brandi wasnt much affected, she was a bit groggy the day I got her back from surgery but after that, we've had a normal, fun relationship. They will scratch at their ears a lot and you will feel bad, but if Bo will be with the breeder the 1st wk that is a big plus for you. I love both floppy and cropped, but I think cropped makes boxers look so alert and regal. It's completely up to you and Bo will be beautiful regardless, but if you have the breeder to fall back on for support and help, like I said that is really a great advantage.
