New Boxer Owners

A few days ago, I saw a couple with a reverse brindle puppy. I introduced myself as a Boxer owner and was playing with the puppy. They asked me when Boxers leave the puppy stage! I laughed at them and said "What puppy stage?"

The little brindle girl was jumping up on me and giving me hundreds of Boxer kisses, and the women said they were trying to teach her not to lick. I said "Good luck!"

I also advised them that Boxers are the best dogs in the entire world.

Sorry but let's get real...they are boxers that's what they do!! Lick, Jump,wiggle and make us happy!!

Sounds like they didn't do any research on the breed bookicon Which is a big . I do hope they know what the have committed themselves to.......... Yeah right, get the boxer to not lick. You might as well get them to not have gas as well

No Licking? Please.... That's part of what doggie partenthood is all about.... My friends think I'm crazy because I've trained Emma to give kisses on command..... right on the kisser....What on earth will they do should their pup decice to play with a squeak toy?

My Sugar Booger as we call her, has the licking syndrome. She will start this tongue licking episode I'd sware she was goin to suck up everything around her.

Lick, Lick, Lick

Lick someone, something, the air???

At obed class the other night when all the dogs were free to play, off goes Ozzy of course he loves to play with the other dogs, the big ones especially, but as he passes close to the chair of one of the parents, he jumps on her lap and starts kissing and kissing, well the lady's hubby couldn't stop laughing, as he was brought up with a boxer, she started laughing and tried to get Ozzy down to no avail, the more she laughed the more he licked, I had to go get him off, the whole class was laughing, his little head bobbing up and down licking the air, a real Kodak moment.

I've never been a fan of doggie slober, and I have actual taught my girl Bebe not to slober on me. She still gives me lots of hugs and everyone else gets lots of hugs and kisses.

Now my wife has started to teach Bebe a new trick. Bebe will come up and hug me, she then looks over at my wife who says "Give Daddy kisses!" and I get slobered:confused:

Oh well, at least one of the ladies in my life is trainable.
