Boxer Buddy
Good afternoon! I have been researching breeds that I beleive would fit into my family the best. I was down to either a Boxer or a Great Dane (I know, their personalities and energy levels seem to be complete opposites), but after much thought, my family decided on the Boxer. This site has given us a lot of great insight and information, Thank you!
My family picked up our new Flashy Fawn Male pup just a few days ago, and Gus just seemed to fit him perfectly. Gus seems to be feeling right at home, and has already formed a bond with my three year old son following him everywhere. He is doing great with potty training, but Crate training at night is still a little rough, but I know he will eventually feel comfortable over night in it. I don't think I have ever seen such a cute puppy in my life, but I guess everybody says that about their own! I hope to upload a picture or two fairly soon.
I look forward to spending some time on this site learning ever more about this great breed. I hope to eventually get Gus into some activities to properly channel his energy and intelligence, maybe at that time some of you will be able to point me in the right direction!
