Good Afternoon to everyone. I became the proud owner of a mahogany boxer two weeks before Christmas. Murphy is without a doubt the most adorable thing to come into my life in a long time. I have spent time reading your posts on boxer puppies and I must say that I have experienced almost everything you have described. I think the thing that caught me aff guard the most is that at the ripe old age of six weeks he was snoring. TO this day I still laugh when I hear him snore. Having raised a few different breeds from Dobermans to Labs I must say that having Murphy be a part of my life now for the past 2 1/2 months now I don't think that I would ever consider raising a different breed other than boxers. Thank you all for your help and I look forward to reading more of your posts.....it lets me know what is in store for me.......

Welcome, coming from a fellow Canadian!! You have to love the snoring! It gives them even MORE human characteristics than they already posess! Get ready for the gas (LOL), if you haven't experienced that already!!!

Hi from another fellow canadian and welcome to boxer world. I just recently join this website and i find it just wonderful. I have a 7 week old boxer and her name is Miss Murphy.

Congrats on your new pup, nothing like raising a Boxer! I love the name Murphy. I had a Murph but he is at the bridge. Murph was raised by me from a pup, I have 2 Boxers now and a Dane, all 3 are rescues.

I'm new here too - seems as though there is a wealth of info here and support systems for all dog lovers!! I too have had a few different kinds of dogs in my years and now i'm hooked - boxers forever!! My Drake snores louder than his human father ever has!! Enjoy life with Murphy!! Suzy
