Boxer Pal
I just purchased (rescued) a 4 month old fawn female from a pet store that she had been "living" in for 2 months...now I know that I paid WAY too much for her, but it was a small price to pay for such a sweet baby! I NEVER in a million years would have thought that I would be the mommy of a boxer, but she was just SO irresistable-I HAD to save her. I need all of the help that I can get with our new bundle of joy...so ANY suggestions are appreciated!
I take her to the vet for a check up on Monday...I know that she has not had any opportunity to go outside and play-romp, bounce....so her muscles are pretty weak, she is still shaky on her feet and sometimes it seems as though she is having trouble getting up, her back legs are a little "noodley". Is this normal? Will she gain some strength as time goes on and she has more room to run and play??? She has pretty long legs and HUGE paws so she is so clumsy and awkward right now...but she is hilarious!!! I love her velvet soft apricot colored fur and therefore she earned the name Ginger...(the kids named her). I am new to this puppy thing and I am in DESPERATE need of some advice, crate training and all!!!
Thanx so much!!!!
