New boxer mommy

Hey everybody! I have been posting and reading posts for a couple of months now but I didn't think I should introduce myself until I actually got a boxer. Well the day has finally come. I go to pick my baby up tomrrow. I live in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. This is going to be my first boxer but I have always wanted one as far back as I can remember. I am attending North Greenville College and I am graduating in December with a BA in Early Childhood/Elementary Education (Im going to be a teacher). I haven't decided on a name for my baby but I will keep you posted. I have really enjoyed BW and have learned a lot. I would like to know if there are any boxer parents near where I am in SC. Thanks for all the information and making a first timer feel welcome.

Glad to see your posts. I had friends when I was growing up who vacationed where you live. I saw the pics of the vacation, that is some mighty pretty country out there.

Congrats on getting a boxer puppy. Be prepared to become as boxer crazy as we all are here This site is very helpful for a new boxer owner - tons of info. Have you been to the Puppy section of the site yet? It's worth reading.

I have some pics on my picture gal. They are when she was 4 weeks old. I decided on a name. Drum roll.......Kikka. Its German and it means mistress of all. She going to be such a spoiled dog.

I just found this thread by doing a search using South Carolina.
I see that it has been since 02 since this thread was started. But i just wanted to say Hello from a fellow South Carolina Girl. And yes we are somewhat close to Travlers Rest. I live in Gaffney but
I work in Spartanburg. Me and my husband go to Greenville Harley Davidson quite a bit.
